Serious question: Where does Tino Ortega get all this energy to complete so many amazing murals in a short amount of time?!

If someone can find that answer for me that would be great. If not, it’s ok because whatever it is that helps motivate him to create these amazing balloon murals is working!

Tino Ortega, the El Paso artist behind the El Paso 3D Mylar Balloon Mural series, has now completes his 13th mural and honestly, it may be my favorite so far.

Tino shared a timelapse video on his Instagram showcasing his latest mural which has the word ““TEYQUERISI” painted on the side of a wall.

The latest mural can be seen at the east El Paso bar, Eleven Eleven Bar.

“Hope everyone has the start to a great week. With all the holidays coming don’t forget to “TEYQUERISI,” wrote Tino in his Instagram video caption.

If you’re from the El Paso area you know exactly what this phrase means. “Teyquerisi” is a Spanish play on English words. If you’re not familiar with the phrase, don’t worry I got you. The phrase is translated to “Take it easy.”

Tino is on a mission to complete 23 murals in honor of the victims of the El Paso Walmart shooting. Each mural is unique and represents the people of El Paso and the beauty of our Hispanic culture.

Tino’s previous mural, “Con Huevos” can be seen on the wall of east El Paso restaurant, Morra Mia located at 11250 Montwood.

I’m excited to see what else Tino has in store for us. If I could make a request I would love for a mural reading *Cries In Spanish*
