Grab your goblins and ghouls this Halloween weekend for a Spooktaculary safe Halloween event courtesy of the El Paso Fire Department.

Saturday, October 29th, the El Paso Fire Department, along with multiple local organizations will be hosting the 2022 Sparky’s Spooktaculary Safe Halloween event.

The event will be held at the Safety, Health, and Outreach Center which is located at 5415 Trowbridge Dr.

The event is free and open to the public. Families that head out will be able to visit and meet firefighters and police officers.

Make sure your little ones bring their trick-or-treating bags so they can collect candy and receive free safety reflective wristbands. Costumes are also highly encouraged!

This event is a way for local law enforcement to remind parents and their children about the importance of being safe during this Halloween season.

Learning sessions will be provided and will cover a variety of topics which include:

• How to stay safe when trick or treating
• How to safely evacuate from the inflatable smoke house
• How to avoid fires when decorating for the holidays.

Events like this are also a great way for parents to introduce their little ones to our local law enforcement so they can always feel comfortable approaching a law enforcement agent whenever they need help.
