Dodgers’ pitching prospect Zach Lee threw six shutout innings in the Albuquerque Isotopes 3-1 victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas Wednesday in Albuquerque. The Isotopes scored twice in the first inning on a solo home run by Jamie Romak and an RBI single by Chili Buss, then added a third run in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Trayvon Robinson.

The Chihuahuas lone run came on a ninth-inning solo home run by New Mexico native Kyle Blanks, his team-leading fourth of the season. El Paso was held to four hits in the loss. The Chihuahuas have dropped four of their last five games, and have a sub .500 record for the first time.

El Paso starting pitcher Jason Lane continued his strong April, allowing just one earned run in six innings of work. Lane has now surrendered only two earned runs in his first 18 innings of the season. Blanks went 2-for-4 in the loss for the Chihuahuas.

SS Alberto Gonzalez uses his glove to throw a shuffle pass and start a handy 6-4-3 double play.
