Your Vote Can Help The El Paso Museum of History Land A Spot On USA TODAY’s Top 10 Museums
Who’s the best? WE ARE! Duh. But to prove that El Paso is the best when it comes to having the best History Museum, we gotta vote vote vote!
The El Paso Museum of History recently shared the news that they have been nominated for USA TODAY’s 10 Best Readers Choice Awards for “Best History Museum” for 2023.
The El Paso Museum is a FREE museum that is located in the heart of El Paso’s Downtown Cultural Arts District.
“It serves the largest continuous border metroplex in North America—El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico—with a combined population of close to three million people,” Read a post on the museum's Instagram page.
The El Paso Museum of History is key in providing out-of-town visitors with knowledge of El Paso’s amazing history.
“As part of its mission, EPMH offers multicultural and multinational audiences the opportunity to explore the dynamic past of the region through exciting exhibitions and public programming, educational workshops, and popular community events designed to amplify the voices of communities historically excluded from cultural spaces and Texas history books,” said EPMH officials.
EPMH is currently at number 6 but a simple vote can help EPMH take that title of the best Museum! Voting ends There are just 18 days left to vote. Voting ends on Monday, February 13th.
This isn’t the first time that the borderland has been on USA TODAY’s 10 Best Readers choice.
Last Year The City of San Elizario was nominated for “Best Historic Small Town” for USA TODAY’s 10 Best Readers Choice and it took the #3 spot! This year, San Elizario has another shot at taking the number one spot!
