It is hard to believe that Raw is 25 years old. The staple show from World Wrestling Entertainment first aired from the Manhattan Center in New York City on January 11th 1993, when it was still the WWF. When the late Bobby Heenan interrupted the opening segment to enter the building, you knew it could be the start of something special. Vince McMahon called the action along with Macho Man Randy Savage and comedian Rob Bartlett, who lasted only a few months because he was not well received and knew nothing about pro wrestling. At that time, Bret Hart and Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) were the faces of the WWE.

Nearly 20 years later, Raw celebrated their 1,000th episode with some of their most memorable moments in the opening montage.

As for tonight, the WWE will be returning to the Manhattan Center where it all began along with the Barclays Center in Brooklyn and bringing back a ton of their former stars to celebrate their 25th anniversary. Scheduled to appear tonight include: Hall, Steve Austin, The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, D-Generation X, Trish Stratus, Torrie Wilson, Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler, Jacqueline, The Dudley Boyz, Christian, Ric Flair, Maria Kanellis, The Bella Twins, The New Age Outlaws, Eric Bischoff, Terri Runnels, Ron Simmons, JBL, Kelly Kelly, The Godfather, The Brooklyn Brawler, Michelle McCool, Brother Love, Boogeyman, Teddy Long, The Million Dollar Man, John Laurinaitis, Harvey Wippleman, Lilian Garcia, Jonathan Coachman, MVP, William Regal, and Howard Finkel. Hulk Hogan and The Rock are the biggest names not confirmed yet for the show tonight. Monday Night Raw starts at 6pm on USA Network.
