Watch the Massive Hit That Knocked UTEP QB Mack Leftwich out of NMSU Game
The UTEP Miners came from behind to beat the NMSU Aggies 50-47 in overtime in what was an incredible game. Quarterback Ryan Metz lead the way as he brought back the Miners twice in 4th quarter to tie the game and send it into overtime, and eventually threw the game winning touchdown pass to Cedrick Lang.
But none of Metz's heroics would have happened if UTEP starting quarterback Mack Leftwich wouldn't have been knocked out of the game early in the 3rd quarter. As you can see in the video above, Leftwich took a massive hit that I can honestly say is one of the worse hits that I've seen in person.
Here's a great picture of the hit that Steve Kaplowitz took:

After the game, Miners' head coach Sean Kugler said that Leftwich was very rattled but ok and he would be going thru the concussion protocol. Let's hope Mack has a speedy recovery.
