Tiger Woods Has Another Back Surgery and Is out for the Year

Tiger Woods is done playing golf for this year. The former number one golfer in the world announced on Friday that he underwent a second microdiscectomy surgery on his back on Wednesday.

The announcement of this latest surgery means that Woods won't play in any more golf tournaments this year.  He said on his website that he hopes to return in early 2016. He also stated how this latest setback has disappointed him :

"This is certainly disappointing, but I'm a fighter, I've been told I can make a full recovery, and I have no doubt that I will."
