A week after the so-called fight of the century between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, boxer Saul "Canelo" Alvarez gave boxing fans the show they wanted to wanted to see.
In the third round in his fight between James Kirkland, Canelo landed a massive overhand right and knocked out Kirkland. Canelo's record improves to (45-1-1, 32 KO)
Canelo is one of the top fighters suggested to face Floyd Mayweather for his final fight in September, and with this brutal knockout, he might have just improved his case for a rematch.
