UTEP sophomore guard McKenzie Moore has been steadily improving since logging his first minutes against UNLV in December.

Moore's finest moment as a Miner came tonight against East Carolina.  Trailing 67-65 with four seconds remaining, Moore hit a buzzer beater from about 35 feet out to give UTEP a dramatic 68-67 win over the Pirates.

Moore also hit a clutch jumper to tie the game at 65 with nineteen seconds left in the contest.  Moore was the hero of the game, but John Bohannon's effort off the bench certainly can't be ignored.  In 30 minutes of action, the big man netted 23 points, nine rebounds, and two blocks.

UTEP finishes its road swing against UAB on Wednesday before returning to the Don for a three game homestand.
