Tonight’s UTEP Basketball Coaches Show Rescheduled for March 16th

Miner basketball fans hoping to get a preview of this week's C-USA Tournament will have to wait for a week. Tonight's UTEP basketball with Kevin Baker and Rodney Terry radio show has been rescheduled for 7pm next Monday, March 16th at Hudson's Grill, 1770 Lee Trevino.

The UTEP women are already in Dallas since they played in Denton against North Texas Saturday night. Rather than fly home Sunday and back again today, the team elected to stay in the DFW area and practice at both Frisco high school and The Star. The 7th seed Miners will play FAU Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. Traci Miller and I will have the call on 600 ESPN El Paso. The winner of that game will meet #2 seed Old Dominion on Thursday at 12:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, the 11th seed UTEP men will leave for Dallas tomorrow morning as they prepare for their first round game against 6th seed Marshall. The game will be played Wednesday night at 8 p.m. from The Star in Frisco. Jon Teicher and Steve Yellen will call the action beginning with the Longhorn Distributing Countdown to Tipoff at 7:30 p.m. If UTEP wins, they would play #3 seed Louisiana Tech on Thursday at 8 p.m.
