Former UTEP standouts and local fan-favorites Aaron and Alvin Jones are set to bring their annual Jones Brothers Youth Football Skills Camp back to the borderland this summer.

In the past, the event had been held at UTEP, but this year the event will be held at Burges High School. The camp will focus on athlete’s speed, agility, explosiveness, body control and advanced footwork.

There will be two different camps from June 19-20. Day one will be 5-year-olds through seventh grade, while day two will be eighth graders through seniors in high school. The Jones Camp will be held from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. both days, with check-in starting at 3 p.m.

Aaron Jones is coming off a strong sophomore season in the NFL, where he appeared in 12 games for the Packers and rushed for 728 yards on 5.5 yards per attempt (NFL-best). Alvin Jones spent his rookie season in the NFL on the Baltimore Ravens practice squad and has been retained for the upcoming season.

In previous years, the Jones brothers have brought in other NFL players, UTEP athletes and special guests to their camp. There will be 1,000 spots available to all attendees and registration can be found on www.aaronjones33.com or www.alvinjonesjr.com
