On Saturday, an estimated crowd of two thousand people packed Southwest University Events Center for the first ever Sun City On Tap. More than 100 beers from over 50 breweries were sampled over two separate three-hour flights.

In addition to the craft beer sampling, Sun City On Tap featured live music from Mainstreet and the Joe Barron band. Beer enthusiasts also enjoyed the Craft House Pub and Grub Sports Lounge with live streaming sporting events, beer pong, foosball, and darts. Ruhmann Law Firm provided unlimited sodas, waters, and drink specials for the Designated Drivers, and they also gave out souvenir coasters. 1873 Tavern hosted the pre-party to help commemorate their grand opening. Tilted Kilt was also on hand as the official photo booth sponsor. Finally, SI.com baseball writer and craft beer enthusiast Jay Jaffe attended the event and had the chance to meet some of his fans to talk both baseball and beer.
