The Kid Gets Paid!

A month ago, the Memphis Tigers were sliding out of the postseason and their 34-year old head coach, Josh Pastner was on thin ice. You know the rest of the story. The Tigers get hot, win the C-USA Championship in the final seconds against UTEP, and earn a trip back to the NCAA Tournament. Who cares if they lost to Arizona by a basket in the 1st round of the tournament? They went back to the Big Dance! Pastner will be dancing as well, to the tune of a new 5 year contract extension that will pay him $1.7 million per season.
