The Fresno Grizzlies who are the AAA affiliate of the Houston Astros and opponent of the El Paso Chihuahuas are changing their name to the Fresno Tacos. Well at least for a day. The Grizzlies are changing the name because it goes along with the Grizzlies fifth annual Taco Truck Throwdown which will take place on Aug. 6. It's a popular night that celebrates one of the signature foods of California's Central Valley. And yes, if you were wondering, the Tacos will be wearing special uniforms for the special event.

According to the Grizzlies, more than More 27,000 tacos were eaten at last year's event. It's too bad the the Chihuahuas aren't played them that night because we have some pretty good tacos here in El Paso.
