And then there were four! That was the tease that the El Paso Zoo posted on Facebook before they announced that there would be a new addition to their family of animals.

“The El Paso Zoo family is overjoyed to announce that we keep growing. Please join us in welcoming our bouncing baby Sumatran Orangutan to the world,” read a post shared by the El Paso Zoo.

The newest addition to the Orangutan family will be the second baby for mom and day, Ibu and Butch.

Back in April of 2015, the two welcomed their first baby Orangutan, Khaleesi. The community was able to help name their firstborn, but no word yet on whether El Pasoans will be able to help the El Paso Zoo with the naming of their newest addition.

One Facebook user asked the El Paso Zoo if they had a name for the newest addition yet. Zoo officials responded that they have not yet determined the gender, but once they know that they will let their fans know.

“Ibu is a proud mother and we are proud of our Keeper team, Vet staff, and everyone that ensured our Orangutans have the best care possible,” read the post shared on the El Paso Zoo’s Facebook page.

Congratulations to mom, dad and sister! The next time you head to the El Paso Zoo, make sure to stop by the Orangutan exhibit to see the newest addition to the Zoo family.
