‘Texas Western Night’ Features Exclusive T-Shirt Giveaway on Thursday

As the Miners hit the hardwood on Thursday night against Florida Atlantic, the Don Haskins Center will celebrate "Texas Western Night" with a 7 p.m. tipoff.

But as part of a special giveaway, the UTEP sports marketing department will debut a gold nugget freebie for the first 400 Miner fans in the building.

Remember the custom t-shirt that head coach Rodney Terry wore following a practice earlier this season?

In turn, the first 400 fans will receive a commemorative white Texas Western shirt—not black—to celebrate the themed night. Even though the giveaway shirts are not a Nike brand, the history and legacy behind these shirts are too nice to pass up on.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for UTEP vs. FAU.
