Kansas looked far more sharp and efficient in their 78-52 thrashing over the Miners compared to their narrow 67-62 win back in March.

It's another edition of David versus Goliath, as the Miners men's basketball team will have a chance to face No. 8 Kansas on Tuesday at T-Mobile Center (Kansas City, Mo.).

After losing to FAU in the first round of the C-USA Tournament, the Miners are left to regroup in another offseason filled with uncertainty.

But the tides turned in the final two minutes, as Kansas chipped away at the Miners' second half lead to steal a 67-62 win at Allen Fieldhouse.

Prior to the start of the Conference USA Tournament in Frisco (March 9-13), the Miners will close out the regular season against one of the country's top basketball programs in No. 13 Kansas on Thursday in Allen Fieldhouse.

The UTEP men's basketball team has scheduled a rare March non-conference game against Big 12 power Kansas, featuring a 6 p.m. MT tip-off in Allen Fieldhouse.
