I hate to lose; always have. Hated it as a player and as a fan. I'm not a sore loser, but losing bothers me. Sometimes I will have trouble sleeping and I keep replaying certain moments in my head with alternate outcomes. Last night's UTEP loss to Tulsa gave me that uneasy feeling and left me with a few questions to ponder.

After suffering their first set-back in Conference USA play in that 100-97 triple-overtime thriller at UAB, the Miners have spelled it out for the rest of the conference. Regular season and post-season, the road to any post-season dancing is running through the defending C-USA champs again in 2011.

Every week, the UTEP Miners men's basketball team continues to impress. Last night, they began the second half with a 16-1 run and cruised to a 66-43 win over Rice. The Miners also limited Rice's top 2 scorers to just 6 combined points.
