Lamar Jackson became the youngest Heisman Trophy winner in history Saturday night, edging out Clemson’s Deshaun Watson and Baker Mayfield of Oklahoma for college football’s top honor.
Alabama running back Derrick Henry, Stanford running back Christian McCaffrey and quarterback Deshaun Watson of Clemson were announced Monday as the 2015 Heisman Trophy finalists.
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston and five other college football stars have been named finalists for the Heisman Trophy, which will be awarded on Saturday.
The three finalists for the 78th Heisman Trophy were revealed earlier this afternoon. Johnny Manziel, Manti T'eo, and Collin Klein made the final cut and received the free trip to New York City.
