PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor says he's ready to go one-on-one against Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson.

Though the 6-foot-1 Taylor is four inches shorter than Johnson, Taylor says he's "up" for the unique challenge of covering the NFL's best receiver.

Johnson is second in the league yards receiving and in touchdowns receiving. He hauled in two scores during Detroit's 21-19 win over Chicago last Sunday.

The Steelers (3-6) are fifth in the NFL in pass defense but were lit up by Tom Brady in a loss to New England two weeks ago, when Brady threw for 432 yards and four touchdowns.

Taylor has enjoyed some success against bigger receivers in his career, most notably Cincinnati's A.J. Green.
