The San Diego 'Super' Chargers have to be among the most frustrating teams in the NFL.  They consistently field a roster full of talent at all positions, but find a way to underachieve.

After getting off to a 4-1 start in 2011, they lost six straight and played themselves out of contention.  The defense and offense have been revamped, and this feels like a make or break year for head coach Norv Turner and quarterback Philip Rivers.

Judson Richards covers the Chargers for Xtra Sports 1360 AM in San Diego.  Richards thinks the revamped roster will help get San Diego back to the playoffs for the first time since 2009.

No mention of the Chargers would be complete without these encouraging words from the former Governor of California.
