Quintin Demps Foundation to Host 3rd Annual Top Golf Scholarship Fundraiser
The Quintin Demps Foundation, along with Sun City Golf Co., is set to host its 3rd Annual Top Golf Scholarship Fundraiser, a highly anticipated yearly event dedicated to raising funds for scholarships. This year’s fundraiser, presented by El Paso Orthopedic Specialists, will take place on Sunday, July 28th, at Top Golf.
The foundation was started by UTEP legend Quintin Demps, who is committed to giving back to the city of El Paso. He's currently the head football coach at Judson University, where he has been the head coach for the past two seasons. Upon graduating from UTEP, Demps was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 2008 NFL Draft. As a nine-year NFL veteran, Demps was also a member of the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, New York Giants and Chicago Bears.
Still, Demps holds the city of El Paso true to his heart, as he calls the 915 his "second home."
"We are thrilled to host our 3rd Annual Top Golf Scholarship Fundraiser," said Demps in a press release. "This event not only supports our ongoing efforts to empower young minds through education but also celebrates the generosity and community spirit of the community. Thank you, El Paso, for continuing to support my foundation’s efforts."
The event aims to support the foundation's mission of empowering young minds through education. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Top Golf, participate in a silent auction and raffle, and indulge in a variety of food options. Plus, select scholarship recipients will be in attendance to be presented their scholarships. The evening also provides a platform for guests to learn more about how their contributions directly benefit El Paso’s youth.
The event at Top Golf will kick off at 5:45 PM.
The Quintin Demps Foundation focuses on enriching the lives of El Paso's youth through various initiatives, including annual scholarships and support for local initiatives like Reynolds Home and La Fe Preparatory School.
