Phil Steele's preseason All-Conference USA list featured three UTEP representatives, as announced by the 2020 magazine on Monday.

Ivan Pierre Aguirre

Duron Lowe, Senior, 3rd Team (KR)

Lowe led the way among the Miners as being tabbed on the third team in the kick returner category. He took home All-Conference USA Honorable Mention honors last year. The numbers backed it up too. Lowe returned 11 kickoffs for 281 yards along with his 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown at North Texas. He led the team with a 25.5 yards per return on kickoff coverage. Defensively, he totaled 25 tackles, six pass breakups and a forced fumble through 11 starts in the secondary.

Michael Reese

Jacob Cowing, Sophomore, 4th Team (WR)

Cowing saw an explosive freshman year onto the scene with UTEP last season, leading the team in receiving yards (550), touchdown catches (3), yards per game (45.8) and yards per reception (17.7). The Arizona native led the league in receiving among freshmen. He also set a program freshman record with 145 receiving yards.

Michael Reese

Bobby DeHaro, Junior, 4th Team (OL)

DeHaro has been getting all sorts of preseason All-Conference love across the country. He is coming off his second straight All-Conference USA Honorable Mention honor last season where he started each game for UTEP at the left guard spot.
