I might be a little biased in this debate because I have NEVER gone out on New Year's Eve. Every year for New Year's eve, my family has always had a party at our house instead. We had food, drinks and party favors; and my mom always made sure that if someone had too much to drink, or didn't have a designated driver, they would stay and sleep it off on our couches.

Last year, was a little different though, rather than having our usual friends over for our end of year party, it was just us. We had an evening of pizza and wine- our theme was "pajama party" and by the time the clock struck midnight, we hugged and went to bed afterwards. Either I'm old, or that was the best thing ever! We might just do that again!

Before the pandemic, however, I would promise myself that I would experience one New Year's eve out and about- a lot of my favorite places usually have New Year's eve parties. Friends of mine who go out always make it look like it's a ton of fun but I somehow never end up going out, and instead stay in.

Obviously, with the 'rona still running rampant, and me having already had the 'rona, I don't think this is the year for me to go out! But if you are- I'd love to know what it is you have planned! Even if you aren't a going out type, let us know what your evening in on New Year's eve consists of!
