NASCAR Fan Climbs Catch Fence Because It’s His Birthday

We had some major brawls happen over the weekend at the UTEP Football tailgate, but this NASCAR fan takes the award for weird sports fan of the weekend.

On Saturday, NASCAR held it's final regular season race at Richmond. As the cars are driving at speeds of 200 mph, this half naked guy, maybe drunk, decided to climb the fence. Once James Richard Dennis, 53, made it to the top, he decided to relax, take in the view, and cause a major freak out for everyone.

After several minutes of arguing with officers, Dennis finally climbed down the fence. The best part of this whole incident, is his reason for climbing the fence. He told police officers, "that it was his birthday, and he wanted to be on t.v.." He now faces charges of being drunk in public and disorderly conduct.
