You never know what can happen to you when you're heading out of the house. Over the weekend people made plans to head out to the mud racing event in Fabens. Unfortunately, some of those bystanders were injured after a freak accident happened.

But sadly, one person, Willie Valadez Ramirez lost his life after being struck by one of the racers. There were at least 8 people who were struck at the mud races on Sunday evening. There were two people severely injured with life-threatening injuries including Willie Valadez Ramirez who unfortunately didn't survive.

It's scary because freak accidents do happen that you're unaware of until it happens all at once. Roberto Tovar shared footage seconds before the crash with The Real Fit Fam El Paso. The clip from the mud racing event shows the car ready to sprint at the starting line before it lost control.

It is frightening to see because you can just imagine how the bystanders felt. The last few seconds of the video show the racer losing control and heading in Roberto Tovar's direction. Thankfully, Roberto Tovar managed to dodge the ferocious hit.

Let's hope the others who were also struck by the mud bogger can survive this and recover. You can see the footage moments before it all happened that The Real Fit Fam El Paso shared, above. There is a Go Fund Me page set up for Willie Valadez Ramirez that you can contribute to by clicking here. Wishing those injured a full recovery and also sending my condolences to Willie Valadez Ramirez's family.
