The UTEP #EPMAD campaign will get an opportunity to spread their message on local broadcast television each week. Miners All Access will be a 30-minute show hosted by Sports Director Lou Romano and the station describes the program as "a fun look at what’s happening now in UTEP athletics, while embracing UTEP’s rich sports history." Each week coaches and student-athletes will take viewers inside the UTEP sports programs with a focus on football, men’s basketball, and women’s basketball. The last time UTEP athletics had a regular show air on television was Miner Sports Weekly on Time Warner Cable.

“I’m really excited to be hosting the first and only show of its kind in the community,” said Romano, “There’s an excitement in the air around UTEP athletics’ new attitude and we’re excited to bring that to the UTEP sports fans in El Paso.”

UTEP Director of Athletics Jim Senter shares Romano’s enthusiasm. “We’re looking forward to partnering with KFOX14 on the Miners All Access Show and giving our fans an in-depth look at our sports programs,” he said. “We have so many fine student-athletes and coaches. The Miners All Access Show provides a forum to tell their stories and show how Every Person Makes a Difference #EPMAD.”

Romano arrived in El Paso in 1990 and has seen plenty of UTEP sports over the three decades that he has worked in the area. His personality is perfect for a show like this. Miners All Access will air on KFOX14 Fridays at 11:05pm with encore performances Friday night at 12:35am on CBS4 and Saturday at 8:30am on KFOX14.
