Elon Musk recently said that he's looking for a new place to move Tesla. Some of the places that have been thrown around are Austin, TX, Tulsa, OK, Nevada, Colorado, and even St. Johns County, FL. But what about El Paso? It would be a great place to bring Tesla. Mayor Dee Margo certainly believes this as he wrote a letter to Elon Musk about moving Tesla to the Sun City.

Mayor Dee Margo makes some solid points and if Musk were smart, he would look into bringing Tesla to El Paso. What sparked this sudden desire to move Tesla out of California? Well, California's rules and regulations were. Musk tweeted this:

There has been talks of a lot of businesses coming to El Paso. You know, like that Cheesecake Factory that's been talked about for years. It's been a thing at least since I've been here in 2015. Since I have been here we have gotten a Ruth's Chris Steak House and a Dave and Busters.

The one thing I'm not sure people realize is El Paso is truly an up and coming town. I visited here back in 2012, eventually moving here in 2015. In just that 3 year span it was almost a completely different city. And in the 5 years since I've been here, it continues to grow. We're in that comfort zone right though, on the rise, but not horribly over populated, and we need to make sure we keep it that way.

There are a lot of cities that suddenly became the hot place to live and they weren't able to keep up with the demand. Just look at Austin, or if you want to go outside of Texas, look at Portland, OR. We should try to get Tesla here, but should do so with caution.
