As El Paso Locomotive FC prepares for its third season in a few months, the club announced that their youth soccer program will be joining the USL Academy this May. The coaching staff will be Omar Marin and JC Garzon, along with Locomotive midfielder Richie Ryan.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for the very best players to experience high-quality training sessions and games against youth teams of other professional clubs, Bob Bigney, Director of Youth Soccer for El Paso Locomotive FC said in the official release. "Players for our USL Academy League team will be selected from Locomotive youth teams or from other teams in the area. We will identify players to train in a player pool. For each scheduled competition in the USL Academy League, we will pick the best team from the pool to represent El Paso."

Morin spent years working in the MLS Youth Academy and he currently coaches the Locomotive 2007 boys team. Garzon is also the goalkeepers coach for the Locomotive, while Ryan will help out while he continues to play as midfielder for the USL Championship club.
