Get Rid Of Your Live Christmas Tree With El Paso’s FREE Christmas Tree Recycling Program
Christmas has come and gone and now, so should that Christmas tree of yours! If you had a live Christmas Tree this year and you’re not sure how to get rid of it, no worries!
The City of El Paso is turning your post-holiday blues into GREEN with its Christmas tree recycling offer that starts December 26!
Every Tuesday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., until February 17th, locals are encouraged to stop by any of the Citizen Collection Stations across the city to drop off their live Christmas tree.
Recycling your live Christmas tree is FREE to residents, just remember to bring your current ID and a recent water bill.
If you plan on dropping off your live Christmas Tree make sure that the tree does not have any ornaments, lights, frost, or glitter.
Locals will also have the opportunity to recycle other goodies like cardboard gift boxes, holiday cards, and wrapping paper! Just make sure they're glitter and plastic-free before dropping them off at any of the stations.
