The El Paso Zoo is buzzing with excitement as it brings back Bug Fest on May 18th and May 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Bug Fest is a celebration of all things creepy, crawly, and crunchy. Visitors will get the unique opportunity to interact with fascinating insects from around the globe and even sample gourmet bug dishes prepared by the Zoo's own executive chef!

The festival features plenty of activities including live entertainment, arts and crafts, fun games, inflatables, and educational lectures presented by community partners from El Paso.

One of the festival's highlights is the chance to get up close and personal with some of the zoo's resident insects in the large bug room. This interactive experience allows both kids and adults to learn about various bugs, their habitats, and behaviors.

A standout attraction at Bug Fest is the bug cooking demonstration. Visitors can join Truly Nolen, local media personalities, and the El Paso Rhinos hockey team to discover how bugs are prepared and enjoyed as delicacies in different cultures. Adventurous guests can taste exquisite samples such as scorpions, crickets, ants, and giant water bugs.

The El Paso Zoo is dedicated to providing educational experiences that spark curiosity and foster an appreciation for the natural world.

By highlighting the importance of bugs, the zoo aims to encourage environmental responsibility and a deeper understanding of these often misunderstood creatures.

Bug Fest is a free event that promises fun, learning, and the chance to try exciting new foods. Don't miss this unique and memorable experience! Click here for more details!
