Texas LOVES food & so does the show "Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives" hosted by Guy Fieri from the Food Network. Literally hundreds of food favorites have been featured on the show; over 80 different spots in the state of Texas alone.

Where has Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives been to in Texas?

One of Guy's favorite places he's visited in Texas was the Bun 'n' Barrel located in San Antonio. He loves his brisket...and so do I.

Another favorite of Guy's was the Hullabaloo Diner in College Station, Texas. Turns out that Texas also knows how to make a mean Philly cheese steak sandwich.

Guy even invited his close friend, and fellow Texan, Matthew McConaughey to check out the Monument Café in Georgetown, Texas.

Some other popular Texas names include the SLAB BBQ in Austin, Ma Harper's Creole Restaurant in San Antonio & Tutta's Pizza in Dallas. And let's not forget San Antonio's Magnolia Pancake Haus

But I'm missing something... if you've been to the West Texas region, you know I didn't list any of the places from El Paso. Well, that's because there are MANY that the Food Network has visited in our part of Texas.

Favorite local restaurants & food trucks have been featured from El Paso -- surprisingly, Chico's Tacos was NOT one of them. But that's ok, many others WERE featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives. So if you want to know which Chuco culinary delights caught the eye of Guy Fieri, you can see the full list below.
