People are wolfing down plastic all over Texas. It's happening all over the United States of America and, sadly, most folks don't even know they're doing it.

Nobody, (I don't think), is actually adding plastic to their food but it's getting in there. It's not just Texas or the USA alone either; this is happening all over the world. Fortunately, it's easy to start, stopping.

Don't use these 7 things anymore ...

On top of all the chemicals and dyes and crap that goes into our food ... not to mention all of the chemicals and pesticides on the crops and steroids and junk fed to the livestock ... there are other artificial contaminants.

What Are Microplastics?

Microplastics are tiny bits of plastic that can be ingested, inhaled or absorbed through contact with your skin and they're no joke.

In blood vessels, they may lead to heart attack, stroke or death.

Tissue inflammation, cell death and lung and liver impacts have all been noted. In animals and marine life, they can also cause oxidative and DNA damage, as well as cancer. Mice were shown to have reduced sperm count, ovarian scarring and hereditary metabolic disorders. - cnet.com

We're not ingesting microplastics, (completely), through our food but, (more likely), by what we eat the food from. If you want to cut down the amount of plastic you don't know you're eating, quit using these things. Tiny plastic bits get cut or torn loose from them during use and/or released under high heat.

Finally, remember that the lings of canned foods are sometimes made from plastic and even the ones that aren't may still not be completely safe. As for the rest of the list, try to stick with wood, glass or stainless steel.

PS: If you're one of those straw/pen chewers, stop it.
