Texas is home to some of the biggest and most successful companies in the United States of America and beyond. Guess who's got the most Texans on the payroll?

There are some mega - employers in the lone star state and some of their headcounts are way, WAY up there. You would be surprised at who the biggest employer in El Paso is.

As for the state of Texas overall, a company based in Houston has the most employees.

Foxconn Assembly, located in Houston, Texas, "produces computer hardware, electronic products, optical products, electrical and electronic equipment assembly". If you would like to work there too, you can get that ball rolling here.

I got that info from pitchbook since Foxconn, apparently, doesn't have a website available to the public. The top 3 largest employers in Texas are Foxconn, followed by Pizza Hut in Plano, Texas with 300,000 employees, (pretty big jump from #1 to #2, huh?) and then AT&T in Dallas, Texas takes third with 273,210.

Even though they don't seem to employ any web designers or overseers, as of August, 2023, they had 803,126 peeps on the payroll. The largest employer in El Paso only has about half that many on staff.

The largest employer in the entire United States of America is the same guy that employs the most peeps here in El Paso, good old Uncle Sam.
