A new study by Relevance ranked Texas No. 2 among the most romantic states in the U.S., based on Tripadvisor reviews mentioning the word “romantic.” The study analyzed hotels, restaurants, landmarks, and parks.
Texas logged 1,787 romantic mentions per 100,000 reviews, finishing just behind Rhode Island. Making it one of the most romantic getaways spots this Valentine's Day.
Restaurants Are Texas’ Secret Weapon
The biggest reason for Texas’ high ranking? Romantic restaurants. The state recorded more than 1,200 romantic restaurant mentions, showing that date-night dining is where Texas really shines. This kind of deserves some bragging; a great meal can spark a wonderful romance, so Texas has a great advantage there!
