NASCAR Fans Remember Kyle Busch’s Dominance in Texas
The racing world was shocked earlier this week with the sudden passing of NASCAR driver & time champion Kyle Busch at the age of 41 years old due to a severe illness. While we're still trying to process the loss of one of NASCAR's biggest stars, I think it's only that we look back on some his iconic wins in NASCAR at both tracks in Texas in the Truck Series, the O'Reilly Auto Parts and finally the Cup Series.
Here are all of Kyle Busch's wins in the Truck Series
During his time in the Truck Series, Kyle Busch managed to collect a total of 6 wins that all came at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas.
- The first time Kyle ever won at the Texas Motor Speedway came in 2009 during the WinStar World Casino 350 on November 6. This would be his 16th overall victory in the Truck Series.
- His next win came in 2010 in that year's WinStar World Casino 350k on November 6. (His 23rd overall Truck Series victory)
- Kyle would win the WinStar World Casino & Resort 350 again in 2014 on October 31.(His 42nd overall Truck Series victory)
- His 4th win at Texas Motor Speedway would come on March 29, 2019 at the Vankor 350. (His 55th overall Truck Series victory).

- His final Texas win would be the 2024 SpeedyCash-dot-250 on April 12. That would be his 66th total win in the Truck Series.
Here are all of Kyle Busch's wins in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series
The O'Reilly Auto Parts series is where Kyle Busch won the most races; a whopping 102 races. During that time, he managed to win at both the Texas Motor Speedway & Austin's Circuits of the Americas a total of 11 times.
- Kyle's first ever win at Texas came during the 2008 O'Reilly 300 on April 5. This was Kyle's 12th win in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.
- Kyle would win later that year on November 1 at the 2008 O'Reilly Challenge. (His 21st win).
- Kyle's 23rd overall win happened at Texas Motor Speedway as he won the 2009 O'Reilly 300 on April 4.
- Kyle would repeat what he did in 2008 and would win the next year again by taking the victory at the 2009 O'Reilly Challenge on November 9. His 29th overall win.
- Kyle won at Texas only once in 2010; his 33rd overall win came at the 2010 O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 on April 19.
- Less than 3 years later, Kyle would win the 2013 O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 on April 12 (his 55th overall win).

Here are all of Kyle Busch's wins in the Cup Series
Finally we get to the Cup Series, the series where most people are probably familiar with Kyle Busch's NASCAR career. Kyle would only win a total of 4 Cup races in Texas but they're forever immortalized in his career:
- Kyle's 1st Texas win wouldn't be until the 2013 NRA 500 on April 13. That became Kyle's 26th overall Cup win.
- 3 years later Busch would win the 2016 Duck Commander 500 on April 9; making it his 36th overall Cup win.
- The 2018 O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 (on April 8) would be Kyle's 44th win in the Cup Series; ending in a photo finish as he barely beat Kevin Harvick to the win.
- The last time Kyle would see victory lane at Texas for a Cup race came on October 28 at the 2020 Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500. This win became Kyle's 57th overall Cup victory.
In total, Kyle would win a total of 21 times in the state of Texas; once at Austin's Circuits of the Americas and 20 times at the Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas/Fort Worth.
