We've talked before about people from El Paso who have won at the Grammys before...well...turns out that at the 67th Annual Grammys, El Paso has emerged victorious yet again!

2 El Pasoans won the Best Children's Album category at the 67th Annual Grammys

Lucky Diaz & The Family Band are a band formed by husband & wife Lucky Diaz and Alisha Gaddis in Los Angeles, California. Since they formed the band in the 2010s, they've had a ton of success including being nominated a total of 3 times at the Grammys.

However this year in 2025, they finally scored big by winning the Best Children's Album category for their album, "Brillo, Brillo!" which came out earlier in May of 2024. The band has also won 2 Latin Grammys in the past.

A few names from El Paso who responsible for the production of that album, including Roger Argenis, who's from the local band Sayverse & who runs the music school, Sound Stage 9. After being nominated a handful of times in the past, he finally has a Grammy to his name!

In fact you can even see Roger on stage with Lucky Diaz & the Family Band when they accepted the award on stage.

Another name from El Paso who helped with the making of "Brillo,' Brillo!" is some that Roger mentioned in his Instagram post, Sam Rodriguez.

Sam's done some work with the local band, Saving Bandit, by playing guitar & horns for them. The band also gave Sam a huge congratulations on their IG page. You can see Sam playing trombone on the music video for "Evil" by Saving Bandit.

A special mention goes to Krystall Poppin who was ALSO at the Grammys; she got an invite to the Grammys but I think she'll have many more in the future.

Huge congratulations to Lucky Diaz & the Family Jam on the Grammy win; and another congrats to Roger & Sam for the Grammy win and representing El Paso too!
