New Universal Theme Park Opens July 1 in Frisco

(Frisco, Texas) The opening date is approaching for the new Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, just north of Dallas.

When Does Universal Kids Resort Open?

Universal Kids Resort, the new theme park from Universal Theme Parks, will be opening on July 1. Unlike Universal's larger parks in Florida and California, or Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington, Universal Kids Resort is aimed at a younger demographic, but not too young like Peppa Pig Theme Park!

The new Universal Kids Resort will feature seven lands throughout the park. Each land will be based on a character from a Universal movie or show. The park will have thrill rides, family rides, shows, dining, and plenty of shopping, in addition to a hotel on the property.
