Quarterback Brian Hoyer is looking for a new place to play. After one year with the Houston Texans, the team decided to release him right before the start of the offseason program.

With the Texans getting Brock Osweiler last month and re-signing Brian Weeden and also having Tom Savage on the team, Hoyer was the odd man out. Hoyer started nine games for the Texans last season but was benched when he returned  from a concussion in favor of Ryan Mallett. He returned for the final game of the season and the team's playoff lost to the Kansas City Chiefs.

It will be interesting to see where Hoyer ends up. Rumor is that the Jets might have interest in him.
