The Houston Texans just debuted a new, red helmet which will be worn in at least one home game in the 2022-2023 season.

Called the "Battle Red" helmet, you'll be able to see this dome protector in action when the Texans take on the Eagles in Week 9 of the upcoming NFL season.


Fans on social media are going crazy over this new look helmet with many commenting that this should be the permanent helmet for the team and I agree wholeheartedly.  

 

  Other fans are, well, not so nice...  

 

OUCH! Those comments may be true, but they still sting a little. Regardless, I love the new "battle red" helmet from the Texans and can't wait to see it (and the Texans) in action this year.
