Hotspots Ticketless El Pasoans Can See EP Chihuahuas Fireworks
There are times you just get in the mood to see fireworks on a Saturday evening. Now usually when that mood comes around it's during baseball season or a holiday of some sort. When baseball season hits you can expect fireworks at every El Paso Chihuahuas home games on Saturdays.
Living downtown sure does have its perks. The people who live near the ballpark have easy and free access to every firework show during Saturday's home games. Some of us don't have that luxury and also miss out on getting baseball game tickets at times.
You would think that would possibly kill your fireworks buzz, but it shouldn't. If you procrastinated for so long you lost out on tickets, doesn't mean you can't enjoy the fireworks. You don't need to worry about something that can be taken care of.
You can still enjoy the loud and colorful fireworks without an El Paso Chihuahuas ballpark ticket. Regardless of being ticketless, there are some hotspots near and around downtown you can see fireworks free of charge. There's nothing like getting to enjoy a free firework show every Saturday the El Paso Chihuahuas have a home game.
You can enjoy watching the fireworks in several spots that have a decent view. In fact, some hotspots to enjoy the fireworks even have a scenic view of the city. So if you just want to enjoy some free fireworks but can't make it to the game, the locations below are decent spots. Some of the hotspots for watching the fireworks are either inside or a little aways from Downtown.

Tom Lea Upper Park
This has a great view of the fireworks along with a scenic view of the city.

Grass Lot (El Paso Museum of History)
There is a grass lot directly beside the El Paso Museum of History on E. Franklin Ave. and N. Santa Fe St. you can definitely see fireworks from this area.

Upson Dr. & Prospect St.
The friendly neighborhood in this area gets to enjoy the fireworks scene right from their patios. As for those who don't live in this area can hunt for a parking spot that is relatively near.

Golden Hill Terrace
Golden Hill Terrace has a relatively close view of the El Paso Chihuahuas fireworks. You can get to it from Arizona Ave. one-way road.
