This month, help save a life by donating blood with Vitalant and Barnett Harley-Davidson on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

El Pasoans can help save lives and support our community this weekend by donating blood. Not only are you saving a life when you donate blood, but you also have a chance to win an awesome Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Vitalant, formerly United Blood Services, will be set up at Barnett Harley Davidson in El Paso over the weekend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Each donor will receive a goody bag, t-shirt, including a chance at winning a 2016 XL 1200X Forty-Eight motorcycle.

You can help save a life by donating blood and maybe end up being the lucky winner of a motorcycle courtesy of Barnett Harley Davidson during the blood drive this coming weekend.

Blood donations are always in need, especially during the ongoing pandemic when the blood supply is critically low. Blood centers across the nation, including Vitalant here in El Paso, TX, and Las Cruces, NM, are taking preventative measures amidst the novel coronavirus. Healthy individuals are encouraged to donate blood so that hospitals have enough blood supplies for trauma and cancer patients.

Donate blood this weekend, and ask about how your plasma might help patients battling COVID-19.

If you had and got over COVID-19, your plasma may qualify if you have fully recovered from COVID-19 and have been symptom-free for at least 28 days.
