The El Paso Chihuahuas scored four runs in the fourth inning against former Major League All-Star Randy Wolf in their 5-3 win over the Reno Aces Monday night in Tucson. El Paso starter Juan Oramas allowed just one run in 5.2 innings of work, striking out seven without walking a batter.

Brooks Conrad went 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Kyle Blanks went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for El Paso in the win. The Chihuahuas split the four-game series and have now split their eight games against Reno (Diamondbacks’ affiliate) this season.

Hector Ambriz struck out all three batters he faced out of the Chihuahuas’ bullpen. Reno threatened in the ninth inning, putting the tying run on base, but El Paso lefty Bobby LaFromboise struck out Mike Jacobs to end the game and earn his second save of the series.

This sound bite has two highlights. The first is the Brooks Conrad 2-Run Double. The second is the Jeff Francoeur single that scored a run.
