A season of firsts continued for Bravos de FC Juarez as they picked up their first victory on the road Saturday night when they defeated Pachuca by the score of 1-0. As a result, the Bravos obtained their 4th victory of the this 2019 apertura season.

For 90 minutes FC Juarez fans saw their team execute and play with purpose. The Bravos were looking for the win and the 3 points that come with it and did not try to play for the tie on the road. The first half was evenly disputed with the Bravos creating a handful of scoring opportunities, still the score at halftime would be 0-0.

The lone goal of the match would come in the 47th minute when midfielder Mauro Fernandez would receive a ball on the right flank as he was running in on the attack. Without hesitation Fernandez took a right footed strike as he approached the ball and it would find the back of the net.

The strategy would almost pay off as in the 90th minute Diego Rolan would score for the Bravos, but would the goal would be overturned in instant replay.
