On Friday night, the Bravos de FC Juarez might have just proved how good this team really is. The team from the Borderland won on the road by a score of 3-1 despite being one man down due to a red card. Their most recent victory over Coras de Tepic was good enough to put them in a tie for first after Lobos Buap lost on Friday night in their match against Murcielagos FC.

FC Juarez didn't just win with only 10 men; all three of their unanswered goals took place when they were one man down. The victory extends their undefeated streak to seven games.

FC Juarez failed to score in the first half despite clearly dominating the match as the visiting team. The Bravos had to play come-from-behind soccer after the host Coras de Tepic scored in the first minute of the second half. From there, things became even more complicated when the leading goal scorer for Bravos and star player Leandro Carrijo was given a direct red card for a careless, aggressive challenge at midfield, sending him to the dressing room 30 minutes early.

In those 30 minutes, FC Juarez demonstrated how much of contender they are in the Ascenso Mx league by putting up 3 unanswered goals to seal a thorough victory and bring back three points with them to the Borderland. FC Juarez now has 21 points on the season good enough to be co-leaders with Lobos BUAP going into Week 12.

FC Juarez will play host to Cafetaleros de Tapachula this coming Saturday night at Benito Juarez Olympic Stadium at 7pm. Cafetaleros is currently in 13th place in the standings and has 10 points on the season.
