Bravos de FC Juarez lost on the road Sunday evening to Santos Laguna by the score of 3-0. This is the second loss in row in as many starts for the Bravos in Mexico's premiere soccer division, Liga BBVA. All three goals for the hosting Santos came in the second half of the match. It should also be noted that 2 goals by Santos were negated in the first half thanks to VAR (instant replay).

This most recent defeat for the Bravos can be considered rather worrisome as Bravos looked incapable in every sense of the word in all aspects of the game of soccer. FC Juarez demonstrated little to no intensity over the course of 90 minutes and appeared overwhelmed with the task at hand.

Santos came into the match off of a opening week win by the score of 3-0 to Chivas de Guadalajara and thus their confidence was sky high coming into Sunday's match. This mindset continued and was evident as Santos smothered the team from the Borderland, denying them the ability to create any real threat on goal for the 90 minutes of play.

FC Juarez even had difficulty getting to the final offensive one-third of the pitch with the potential of a controlled and ordered attack on the opposition.

Needless to say, with this most recent performance doubt is starting to creep in to the mindset of fans as was expressed in social media immediately after the match. Over the course of this week it will be interesting to see if this is doubt or worry is noticeable in any of the players, coaching staff or members of the front office en route to next Sundays home opener against Toluca.

With this most recent performance it is difficulty to put your finger on what the Bravos must correct to turn this thing around, improve and get a positive result come Sunday...can “everything” be an option?
