Break out the swimsuits and sun block. The heat is on and if you and the kids are ready to get wet and cool off for the summer of 2021, you will soon have another brand-new water park option in El Paso.

Chapoteo, the City of El Paso’s fourth and final regional water park to debut this year, will open to the public at the end of the month.

Located just down the street from Lionel Forti park at 1225 Giles, the Lower Valley neighborhood aquatic facility will throw open its gates on June 30, after which it will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Like Lost Kingdom, Camp Cohen and Oasis that came before it, Chapoteo has its own unique theme and features a leisure pool, lap pool, kiddie pool, slides, water playground, lazy river and climbing wall, as well as cabanas and a cafe.
