El Paso began celebrating Pride Month at the beginning of June with various events across the city, including two of its most popular events, Pride Fest and Pride Parade.

Thousands of El Pasoans came out to support and celebrate Pride Fest, which took place at the iconic nightclub, the OP (Old Plantation) off S. Ochoa St. in downtown El Paso.

The event spanned indoors and outdoors, bringing local, regional, and national talent such as RuPaul's drag race stars to the vivid block party.

The 17th annual Pride Parade this year also drew in thousands of spectators and over one-hundred participants becoming the largest Pride Parade in El Paso history. Participants included organizations and businesses from El Paso Electric to Bank of America and mascots such as Chico the Chihuahua and Ozzy from the Locomotives.
