October 15, 2021 will be the fifth year that the Paso del Norte Community Foundation holds El Paso Giving Day in an effort encourage giving back to local non-profit organizations.  Many of the in-person fundraisers organizations have relied on in the past have had to go virtual like numerous other events during the COVID-19 pandemic.  For fundraising events that have had to be cancelled altogether, El Paso Giving Day will go a long way towards making sure non-profits in El Paso can continue to do their part to help the community in their corner of the world.

This year, Walmart will be providing a major boost by pledging to award up to $300,000 dollars in matching grants to participating non-profit organizations.  El Paso Giving Day is a great way to encourage younger people in El Paso and the surrounding area to make it a point to give to causes they deem worthy.  With the minimum gift amount of $10, this is an ideal opportunity for a person to donate whatever amount they are comfortable with and see it add up as it is tallied with the donation of others.

General information for El Paso Giving Day as well as information for non-profits wishing to register their organization can be found here.
