The El Paso Chihuahuas continue to receive plenty of attention from the Minor League baseball world. After more than two million votes, MILB's official website announced that the Chihuahuas were named the winner of their Clash of the Caps contest. The team narrowly beat out the Richmond Flying Squirrels and the Albuquerque Isotopes for the honor. Team general manager Brad Taylor was excited to receive the good news.

“What an amazing journey it has been,” Taylor said. “El Paso and the nation have embraced our brand. What a positive, fun association this is for our city.”

Fans can purchase the popular cap either online at EPChihuahuas.com or in person at our two ballpark locations located at 1 Ballpark Plaza (on Santa Fe Street and on Durango Street). The Chihuahuas Team Shop is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-4 p.m. The retail stores are closed Sundays except for gamedays. Both stores are closed on Memorial Day.
